Cookie Policy

Simple privacy controls.

FiveMinFree keeps essential storage to a minimum and asks before using optional analytics or loading non-essential external content.

Your choices

On your first visit, FiveMinFree asks whether you want to allow optional analytics and external content or advertising. You can choose Necessary only, Accept all, or make an individual choice in Cookie settings.

Necessary storage

Essential storage supports security, sessions and core site behaviour. It also remembers your privacy choice so the consent notice does not appear on every page. Necessary storage cannot be switched off through the cookie panel because the site relies on it to operate correctly.

Analytics

If you allow Analytics, FiveMinFree uses its own first-party analytics system to understand which pages and tools are useful, how visitors move around the site, broad device and browser information, referral sources, downloads, tool actions and errors such as missing pages. FiveMinFree does not store visitor IP addresses in this analytics system and does not record uploaded file names, file contents, form contents, API credentials or document contents.

If Analytics is not allowed, FiveMinFree does not create its analytics visitor or session identifiers and does not record your visit in the first-party analytics system.

External content and advertising

If you allow External content & advertising, FiveMinFree may load non-essential content supplied by third parties, including advertising. When external content loads, the provider can receive routine information such as your IP address, browser details and the page making the request, and may use cookies or similar browser storage according to its own policies.

If you keep this category off, FiveMinFree does not load advertising code through its advertising slots.

Changing your mind

You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer at any time. Withdrawing Analytics removes the FiveMinFree analytics visitor and session cookies from your browser and stops future analytics collection on subsequent requests. Changing external-content consent takes effect when the page reloads.

How long the choice lasts

Your privacy choice is remembered for up to six months, after which FiveMinFree may ask again. Browser settings can also remove site data earlier.
