A few useful things to know
Converting a lossy file such as MP3 into another lossy format cannot restore quality that was already discarded. If you're archiving audio and have a lossless source, FLAC is normally the better preservation format. For general listening, MP3, Opus and AAC provide much smaller files.
FiveMinFree converts the first audio stream in the uploaded file and does not copy video or embedded cover artwork. Server-side conversion is used here because it is more reliable for large files and codec compatibility than loading a full media encoder into your browser.
